It is very important to me that I spend time in our schools — engaging our students, understanding what they are learning, and working with our educational leaders. As often as possible, I take the opportunity to go into classrooms and speak with students about their learning and how we can improve to serve them better. These school visits also help to drive the work we do as a team here at the Board. To help highlight these important connections, I have decided to make reflection videos about what I’ve learned during my time at our schools and how it relates to the Board’s broader direction in the service of our students.
