GO TEAM
Students enjoy a full complement of extra-curricular activities at MAC. Whether they participate on one of our many athletic teams, develop their leadership skills as a member of one of our councils or socialize in various clubs, our students develop a sense of pride and belonging to the school community.
Macdonald boasts a strong athletic program that engages students at all fitness levels. Lunchtime intramurals foster the spirit of teamwork and fair play in a non-competitive environment, while our top athletes have lead our Blackscots to city or provincial championships in many sports.
Also central to student life at Mac is the growing number of student leaders and opportunities for students to demonstrate their commitment to community service and social justice. Mac In Action, our student-led council which promotes volunteerism, has been at the forefront of this movement for over a decade. Our Macdonald Environmental Action Council and its members promote awareness of environmental issues and inspire students to take action both locally and globally. Our Student Activity Council makes school spirit and student engagement their top priority!
