Advanced Placement
The Advanced Placement Program (AP) is a cooperative agreement between participating secondary schools and post-secondary institutions. AP courses permit you to undertake additional academic content as identified by postsecondary institutions.

Cisco/Nortel Systems
These programs provide specialized equipment and staff training so that technology departments in several schools can offer selected you the opportunity to earn CISCO/Nortel Networking certification through the completion of successive Communications Technology credits.
LEAP
The Literacy Enrichment Academic Program (LEAP) is for newcomers who need intensive upgrading in literacy, mathematics, and study skills. To enter these programs, you must have an assessment at one of the Newcomer Reception Centres.
Extended French
These courses have been designed for students who have had 1,080 to 1,440 hours of instruction in French in elementary school. The program includes French, plus other subjects studied in the French Language.
French Immersion
These courses have been designed for students who have had 3,000 to 6,000 hours of instruction in French in elementary school. This program includes French, plus other subjects studied in the French language.
Specialized Tech/Co-op OYAP Programs
These programs offer you the opportunity to take concentrated senior tech courses combined with cooperative education experiences to help find paid employment in the workplace.
