Toronto District School Board welcomes Stacey Cline as the new public school Trustee for Don Valley West, officially taking office on March 18, 2025. The swearing-in ceremony was held in the TDSB Boardroom following her recent election.
As a previous elementary teacher and current school volunteer, Trustee Cline brings unique experience to the role. She is also a former TDSB student with a child currently attending a Ward 11 school.
Earlier this month, Toronto City Clerk John D. Elvidge certified the results of the by-election, declaring Cline as the elected Trustee for Don Valley West. Constituents can visit the Ward 11 webpage to find updated information for Trustee Cline.
At the December 2024 Board Meeting, Trustees voted to hold a by-election to fill the vacant Ward 11 seat. The by-election took place on March 3, with community members casting approximately 4,600 ballots through advance, mail, and in-person voting.
The TDSB is comprised of 22 Trustees, elected during municipal elections to represent public school supporters across Toronto. The current Board of Trustees term concludes on November 14, 2026.
