Health & Safety Issue Details	Extension cord used as permanent wiring. Notice for Principal: Please remind staff that extension cords cannot be used as permanent wiring, and if there's no other choice but to use them throughout the day, they will need to be unplugged at the end of each working day. Also, the cord is a potential trip hazard. The cord should never be placed under carpet because it presents an invisible trip hazard" and there could be wear and tear on the cord over time as students and staff walk on it. Solutions: unplug cord at the end of each day; and use a wire/cord trough throughout the day with cord on top of carpet (but under wire/cord trough). See photo."
