Cornell Junior Public School (GR. JK-06)

Cornell Junior Public School draws on the many strengths of a culturally diverse neighbourhood and community. The school serves the needs of 750 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6. The school opened in 1959 with a major addition in 1998, providing more classrooms, a double gymnasium, computer lab, music room and new library.
In September 2014, four purpose-built classrooms were added to house the FDK (Full Day Kindergarten) program.

Student recognition assemblies, curriculum open-houses, special events and co-curricular programs are important traditions at our school.
