Transportation is provided for students who are placed by an Identification, Placement, and Review Committee (IPRC) or Special Education Program Recommendation Committee (SEPRC) into a special education program that is not located in their home school and who meet eligibility criteria. Please submit the application form to your local school principal.
Students in wheelchairs are eligible for transportation. Transportation may also be provided for students who have a medical condition or disability that severely limits walking. Transportation is not provided for students attending any school or special program at their request, even when distance or medical condition is a factor. Students with disabilities/special education needs, in most cases, must meet the distance criteria, but all applications are reviewed individually to consider any unique circumstances.
