Where can I see a list of student programs and how do I register myself or my child?

There are a variety of student programs that are offered at various times of the year. These student programs are for enrolled Toronto District School Board students. To learn more about each program, please visit the Programs page. Do you have any offerings for parents, caregivers and/or community members?

Throughout the year, a variety of programming is available for parents, caregivers and/or community members. My organization is interested in being a TDSB partner, how can I register?

The Centre of Excellence for Black Student Achievement creates and maintains relationships with a wide range of community partners to better serve students, staff and communities.

How can a student access a Graduation Coach for Black Students?

Graduation Coaches for Black Students are located within a few select high schools throughout the Toronto District School Board. If a child attends a school with a Graduation Coach they can book an appointment with the Graduation Coach. If no Graduation Coach for Black Students is assigned to the child’s school, students may still access Graduation Coaches by registering for one of our student programs.

What can I do if I believe my child is experiencing anti-Black racism at their school?

Please report any instance of racism or hate to the school Principal/Vice-Principal, Teacher or other staff member. All staff have a duty to respond appropriately including informing school administration. The school administration will notify the Superintendent and report the incident and initial response through the Racism, Bias and Hate (RBH) Portal and Human Rights Office, As per Operational Procedure PR 728.
