Katrina Nicole Matheson - Ward 10 PIAC Co-Representative Candidate
I have been organizing parents since spring of 2022 around the issue of school funding. I am very keen to continue organizing through PIAC, and am especially excited to try to unite PIAC groups around the province for a more unified voice for our children.

Mark Anthony Unger - Ward 10 PIAC Co-Representative Candidate

I am honored to express my interest in the PIAC nomination for the TDSB School Board. As a long-standing advocate for quality education and community engagement, I remain deeply committed to the board’s core mandate: delivering academic excellence while ensuring a supportive learning environment for every student. I am determined to advocate for these objectives and to ensure policies are aligned with the values that so many in our community hold dear. My vision for the TDSB centers on accountability, collaboration, and a renewed commitment to the academic and personal success of every student. I am eager to work with our community to steer our schools back to their core mandate, bring about positive change, and secure a more resilient future for all our students. Thank you for considering my candidacy.

Jacqueline Wylde - Ward 10 PIAC Co-Representative Candidate
I am interested in being the PIAC rep after spending 5 years as co-chair of Hawthorne's School Council and working very closely with Essex School Council.  In my time as co-chair, we underwent a re-visioning process for the pillars of the school and reorganized the relationship between Essex and Hawthorne, strengthening both school communities through increased collaboration.  We grew our council substantially and made it active, focussed on making the school better for kids, making the school a community hub, and making participation in school council a fun way to meet people and contribute to the community.  I believe that parents play an important role in our schools, and that healthy and functional school councils can help make schools better community hubs and learning environments for our children. I hope to help other schools strengthen their parent involvement through a role at PIAC.Jacqueline Wylde - Ward 10 PIAC Co-Representative Candidate. Tamanna Yeasmin - Ward 10 PIAC Co-Representative Candidate
I am a mother of two and have a strong connection to the Toronto District School Board, as my children attend a TDSB school. Growing up in Toronto, I understand the importance of parental involvement in the education system. I am eager to contribute my perspective, advocate for parent engagement, and support the board's efforts to improve educational experiences for all students.
